In the company of other women, you get to be you again... retreat, relax, laugh...just 'be'
Our "Yoga in Nature Weekend Retreat†is focused on mindful movement, breath awareness, relaxation, connecting with nature and most of all, having fun!
Our accommodation is just out of Dwellingup, on a large property set in natural bushland, backing onto the forest. We stay in a mix of Chalets, or rooms within The Lodge and are utilising the newly built deck, overlooking a tranquil lake as our ‘Yoga Space’. The peaceful setting of this property, daily yoga/meditation, bush walks, amazing food, wine & company are sure to provide you with an opportunity to unwind, relax and reflect. You have time each day for fun and to connect with like-minded women, as well as plenty of time for rest and quiet reflection.
The aim of the retreat is to encourage you to practice mindfulness through movement, enjoy time away from habitual routines & the demands of daily life, bring laughter and adventure into your life…. and ensure you go home feeling refreshed & relaxed, with a big SMILE on your face.
Come alone and enjoy the time just for you, or you may wish to nurture a special bond and bring a mum, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend. Everyone is welcome, and all processes, emotions and information shared during this retreat are treated with the strictest confidence and utmost respect. You can be assured that anything you express or share at retreat will remain at retreat.

Bettina will guide us in mindful movement, through gentle standing Yoga and Qi Gong, the ideal way to tune into our surrounds & warm up the body, before taking part in a guided walk. As we immerse ourselves in nature, we walk with intention in a relaxed and mindful way, not to cover a lot of ground, but to walk slowly and take in the surroundings through our senses, soothed by the fragrances and sounds of nature… rejuvenating and restorative on all levels .. free from the digital world and modern day stresses… stillness in movement.
We then take time to enjoy beautiful Island Pool and the forest surrounds - it’s calming effect and natural beauty. There is time for a cleansing swim in the Murray river …it’s wild, cool, natural and therapeutic, or for those who enjoy a bushwalk and want to challenge themselves, perhaps you’ll use some of your time here to hike the nearby loop trail with your AW Host, through scenic Jarrah forest, numerous grass trees and awesome valley views. (Class 4, 1 hour approx, some steep sections)

Is this Yoga Retreat Suitable for me?
We have purposely developed this particular retreat program to fit the ‘Adventurous Women’ style of doing things. It’s a little different, in that we don’t stick to a particular philosophy or practice, our food is not vegan (happy to cater for vegetarians though) and complete silence is not our strength. We appreciate that there are plenty of excellent companies who already provide this end of the spectrum when it comes to Yoga Retreats and we’d be more than happy to recommend them, if our style doesn’t suit your needs.
Beginners Welcome, You don’t need to be flexible or fit … all bodies can do yoga!
Alcohol is not provided, however you are more than welcome to bring your own if you enjoy a tipple.
We provide lovingly prepared homemade meals and they are amazing! There may even be a little naughty twist at times, however you do have a choice as to whether or not you wish to indulge.
Self Drive - We will provide directions to the property.
You need to have a "Go with The Flow Attitudeâ€
