Join our Guide on an interactive walking tour where she will provide an in-depth perspective of Point Peron. Learn about the protected rock formations, coral reefs, local native wildlife, caves, marine ecosystems & indigenous history. The biodiversity of this area is considered to be one of the most diverse in Australia!!
The walk and interpretation will take approximately 2 - 2.5 hours and will be followed by a lovely morning tea.
You will need to wear comfortable closed in walking shoes as you'll be on your feet for around 2 hours. You will also need a pair of reef shoes / aqua socks (borrow or purchase) as we will be getting our feet wet during this activity and the limestone reefs can be a bit sharp....we also don't want anyone stepping on a sea urchin or anything!!!
The reef shoes or aqua socks don't have to be fancy or top quality and can be found at K-mart for around $8.00.
Our Guide will meet you in the northern carpark at Point Peron Foreshore. A map showing this carpark will be provided to you in the week leading up to the activity.
Notice of cancellation must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Adventurous Women with the following conditions:
