Departing Perth early this morning we begin our journey north, enjoying the variety of Western Australian Wildflowers along the way. We stop in at Dongara’s Moreton Terrace en-route to grab a cuppa and enjoy a picnic lunch in the shade of the giant fig trees.
After lunch we continue north, through historic Greenough, the port city of Geraldton and via Lynton Convict Settlement towards Kalbarri. Just before we reach Kalbarri, we take you to some of the most impressive vantage points along this rugged red coastline. Here you can stretch your legs and enjoy the stunning views, while keeping an eye out for migrating whales, or more commonly, the pods of dolphins regularly gracing these waters. Once checked in at our accommodation, we’ll freshen up before regrouping and walk to the local pub to enjoy our first evening meal together.

The optional tours will be provided to you on booking & should be requested at the time of booking your holiday with us, to ensure you don't miss out. Also at any time throughout the tour, if you'd rather kick back at camp under the shade of a tree and read a book ... you can!!
It's your holiday and if you choose not to walk, swim or explore on any given day, that's totally cool with us. Age - No barrier on our tours, you just need to have good mobility and a good attitude. On this particular tour as a guide, the ages generally range from 25 through to 75.
Most people join our tours as 'solo' travellers, so you'll never feel alone ... we're a very inclusive & friendly bunch!
To join this tour, you need to be willing to put up and pack down a tent (we work in pairs and we show you how to do it ... it's easy once you've done it), bog in and help with washing up/camp duties, adopt a ‘go with the flow’ attitude. You need to be able to navigate your way up and down rocky steps, through gorges and walk on unstable rocky surfaces at times without assistance. (Some in Karijini are challenging) You also need to be able to swim. Most importantly ... it's WA Outback Country and where we're going is a LONG WAY, we've done our best to keep travelling times to a minimum where possible, however ...you need to be able to handle being in a vehicle for several hours at any one time.
Notice of cancellation must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Adventurous Women with the following conditions:
