Forest Bathing and Rock Pools at Kondalilla Falls, Flat Rock and Obi Obi Creek
Join AW Host Tara on the first challenging walk of the 2025 Adventure season in the Kondalilla National Park. Feel the refreshing water and cooler rainforest air on your skin as you take in views of Mother Nature at her finest.
Kondalilla means ‘rushing waters’ in the local Aboriginal language – and you’ll understand why as you hear the cascading of 90m Kondalilla Falls, the star attraction of this natural paradise. We will be walking through 28 million years of history make our way through landscapes created by volcanoes and carved out by water.
This popular walk will take us past the beautiful Kondalilla Falls and then drop down further along the Obi Obi Creek to the Flat Rock pools. We will stop here for some morning tea and home-baked treats.
Along this walk you'll come across an astounding 300 plus stairs in total so having some fitness or endurance is highly recommended.
This track forms part of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk.
There will be the opportunity to take a dip in the rock pool if you're are game.
