Karda Bidi generously hugs the banks of the Swan River (Derbal Yerrigan) and is part of the Whadjuk Trails, an interconnecting network of walking trails through Perth's Western Suburbs. The Karda Bidi, depicted with the Monitor Lizard on the directional marking signs is 10.6km long point to point walk and starts with a stroll through King's Park before following the Swan River foreshore. This enthralling walking trail is fairly level and normally takes a few hours to complete.
Enjoy the views over the Swan River as you allow the history to captivate your imagination. There are cafes along the route, so morning tea will not be supplied on this hike. We will take a break at one of the cafe's where you can enjoy a cuppa and a snack if you wish (and a toilet break).
Note: Parts of this walk include stairs and sandy sections along the banks of the river.
Important: Our walk will be longer than the 10.6km point to point trail, (approx 13 - 13.5km), as we will be walking to/from train stations at the end of the trail, to accommodate availaibility and ease of parking without the need for a car shuffle. This will all be explained via an email from our office during the week leading up to the hike and once at the meeting point your Guide will be coordinating how this will work.

Parking is $2.50 per hour at the City of Subiaco Parking Station, Onslow Street.
