No need for elite athleticism here! The Cape to Cape Track is the perfect blend of challenge and charm, featuring mostly moderate terrain with a few lengthier stretches to keep it exhilarating. The sandy shores, making up about 15-20% of the path, are our most thrilling challenge, with the remainder winding through majestic cliff tops, lush coastal heath, and whispering forests.

Itinerary
Depart from Perth early morning and arrive at Cape Naturaliste by lunchtime. Enjoy your first picnic lunch on the lawn at the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and start getting to know your fellow travelers.
Today’s walk on the Cape to Cape track is straightforward, featuring mostly cliff-top trails and a bit of beach walking. Keep an eye out for dolphins!
Please wear your hiking clothes on the bus and have your day pack ready. After our walk, the bus will meet us at Yallingup and take us to our accommodation in Margaret River.

Start the morning with a beach walk, followed by a day filled with coastal views. This section features red granite boulders, white sandy beaches, and turquoise waters, offering a striking contrast along the rugged coastline.
For lunch, we’ll stop at the surfing hotspot, Injidup, then head to Quinninup Falls, and conclude the day at Moses Rock with views of the ocean.

Today is enjoyable and manageable, though it includes some hills and sandy areas. Enjoy broad views of the coast from cliff-top vantage points and the impressive granite cliffs of Willyabrup among today's highlights.
If the weather permits, consider a swim in the sheltered bay at Gracetown, or simply relax and dip your feet, reflecting on another fulfilling day on the Cape to Cape track.

Today's walk starts with an easy trek through coastal heath leading to Ellensbrook historic homestead. Here, you can have morning tea and explore the grounds. The track then veers inland, offering a chance to appreciate the landscape away from the ocean.
Post-lunch, we return to the coast for a pleasant beach walk to Cape Mentelle. We conclude the day at the Margaret River mouth, which is a nice spot for a swim if the weather is warm.

A diverse range of scenery awaits us today! We begin by heading inland, enjoying morning tea beside Boodjidup Brook. A beach walk then leads us to Redgate for lunch, followed by a stunning cliff-top stretch that brings us to the shaded Contos Campground for afternoon tea.
The day concludes with a walk through a calm forest on solid, easy trails, providing a serene end to a fulfilling day on the Cape to Cape track. Despite the distance, today is not typically considered the most challenging.

This morning, we continue through the karri forest and then descend to the blue waters of Hamelin Bay. The 6 km beach stretch is quite enjoyable with the right mindset. Take in the peace, the view, and the moment as you walk into Hamelin Bay for a picnic lunch.
After lunch, we tackle a short but challenging hike up to the small Foul Bay Lighthouse, offering extensive views back along the coast. Soon after, we'll reach the end of another rewarding day.

This last day can be quite exhilarating, especially in windy conditions! Much of the walk takes place along a limestone ledge near the sea, featuring blowholes.
There's a long beach stretch where you can reflect on your achievements this week. Afterwards, we head inland, catching glimpses of the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, which marks the end of your journey. Your Cape to Cape track hike officially concludes at the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. At the end of this memorable journey, it’s time to take off your boots and celebrate your achievement!

Enjoy a sleep in and a leisurely breakfast with your morning free in Margaret River. Pick up some take-away lunch (own expense) before we head back to Perth, arriving by mid afternoon (usually between 2.30 and 3pm).
