Tonight we have plans for you!!!!
We're swapping that cold drink for an evening stroll and a hot cuppa on the top of a rock whilst gazing out over the city lights twinkling in the distance. The stars and planets will be our company this evening, guiding us along the way.
On this walk, Caron and Kat will meet you at the White Rock - Spring Mountain Conservation Estate, and lead you through the bushland to the perfect place for the sunset.
As the sun slips down over the horizon you will enjoy a well-deserved snack and cuppa, perched at the top of the main ridge lookout. It is truly breath-taking as the night sky offers up views stretching from Springfield to Mount Coot-tha.
The SkyView Free app (Apple | Android) lets you see what stars and planets are above you, one of the fabulous tools modern technology offers us. Remember to keep an eye out for shooting stars and satellites.
Switch the torches on for the hike back and spot the local nocturnal animals as they come to life along the forest floor and among the trees. Wander along the soft moonlit trails that will guide you back to the beginning of this wondrous walking adventure.
