Keeping Adventurous Women alive and kicking in the South West during COVID-19! Come walk with us and discuss ideas for activities in your local area.
The idea of the first gathering of Adventurous Women in Bunbury and surrounds, is to develop activities that can be run in your local area. We have a volunteer from Bunbury, who has attended a couple of Adventurous Women events outside her local area and is now willing to donate her time to helping to keep things alive in the South West.
Introducing you to Sue Daniels, who has kindly volunteered her time to help grow the AW community in Bunbury and surrounds by organising some activities locally. Sue works full time, so she may not be able to get back to you straight away if you text, phone or email her, but just know that eventually she will.
The first meetup will start with a walk and cuppa - Meet Sue at the Parade Hotel Carpark at 9.00am - She'll be wearing a bright orange Adventurous Women peak cap.
After intro's, take an easy 5km walk around the estuary, maintaining social distancing responsibly and on return enjoy a cuppa and talk about some ideas in going forward. All suggestions and ideas are gratefully received ie: Crooked Brook walk, beach walk, kayaking, etc, bring your ideas, please.
BYO thermos and cake, or purchase from coffee shop (Corners on King are open for take-out)
BYO chair or stand and mingle.
If you'd like to invite a friend, do so ... but they need to book separately as numbers are limited ... and feel free to bring your dog if you wish too!
