Peregian Beach is a little beach village that’s big on charm offering, friendly clubs, specialty shops and delicious restaurants.
Here life is centred around their grassy village square that is also very dog friendly with water bowls set outside most cafes and shops.
We will start our journey heading down onto the beach for a walk north along the golden sand toward Sunshine Beach. The ocean will remain on our right whilst up over the dunes you will find Peregian Environmental Park and Lake Weyba National Park. The southern extension of the Noosa National Park with a rich mix of coastal heath and scrub and stately rainforest which provides sanctuary and support for a wealth of native flora and fauna. This vantage point also allows you a perfect view of the elaborate coastal properties that are peppered along the dunes.
At Sunshine beach, one of Australia’s most pristine surf beaches and an idyllic beach-side community we have the option to enjoy lunch (own expense) at the surf club or even take a refreshing swim on the patrolled beach.
A car shuffle can be organised prior to our departure, or we can simply catch the local 620 bus (remember your GoCards) that run every 30mins back to Peregian and enjoy the scenery along the way.
Note: Remember to bring your GoCard and Swimwear with a towel.
There are toilet facilities close to our meeting spot and in Sunshine Beach.
