Join Adventurous Women® on the first Qld adventure of 2023 - a walk to the top of Mt Ngungun to watch our first sunset of the year.
Once at the summit we will have a glass of bubbly and some nibbles while enjoying the gorgeous 360° panoramic views of Mount Tibrogargan, Mount Coonowrin, Mount Beerwah, the coast and hinterland as the sunsets and lights up the sky.
When we're ready to return it's torches on, as we make our way back down the trail while keeping an eye out for animals that are more easily seen in the evening, including owls and koalas, that can be found in the bloodwood and tallow trees along the way.
Mt Ngungun (pronounced noo noo and meaning "black") is approximately 1 hour from Brisbane CBD
Please note: a good quality torch or head torch is a must for this event and there are no toilets at the trailhead or carpark.
