Elevation: 460 metres
Join Chris on this moderate but long hike through open exposed bushland. It includes some steep sections to negotiate so it's recommended that you're "hike fit" and regularly walking similar distances over hilly terrain to really enjoy the day.
We’ll begin our day along the Wyaralong Shoreline Track with lovely views of the water and birdlife, then ascend to Mt Joyce with spectacular views of the Main Range mountain chain, Mt Barney group, Wyaralong dam and much more.
After the summit we'll descend to the Ngumbi basecamp where there is a toilet and shaded area near the homestead to sit and enjoy our lunch break.
After our break we will head back along the Shoreline Track to our starting point to enjoy tea, coffee and a sweet treat.
There is a toilet at our meeting spot car park and also midway the Ngumbi Homestead
These tracks are shared with mountain bikes.
