If you are looking for a long hike in the Sunshine Coast with a beautiful reward (a waterfall and secluded rock pool), this is definitely one to do.
Let Caron & Kat take you on this walk that is a hidden gem in the Mapleton National Park. With lots of ups and downs this is a stunning morning immersed in the Australian Bush whilst getting your cardio in for the week. The circuit is along an old loggers track that takes you through tall open forests to where the South Maroochy River winds down to the falls and drops into a hidden gorge.
The beautiful Kureelpa Falls are located in the scenic Blackall Range, created by volcanoes and sculpted by water over millions of years.
Enjoy a cuppa and home baked treat amongst the massive trees at the picnic area back at the day use area. A stunning setting to rest and reflect.
