If you are looking for a long hike that makes you feel like you have left the world behind, then Kureelpa Falls is calling you.
Located in the scenic Blackall Range in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland this walk is a hidden gem. The walk features a decent of 200m that follows along an old loggers track with the perfect prize of a stunning waterfall & secluded rock pool that are also the source of the South Maroochy River.
On our way to the falls we will pass through tall open forests consisting of Blackbutts and occasional old growth eucalypts. This area and the falls themselves were created by volcanic action and then sculpted by water over millions of years into what we can enjoy today.
Enjoy a cuppa and home baked treat amongst the massive trees at the picnic area back at the day use area. A stunning setting to rest and reflect.
