This adventure provides an opportunity to escape during the week at a Brisbane bushland area which is part of the Flinders to Karawatha Corridor.
The area contains a variety of habitats from freshwater lagoons and sandstone ridges to dry eucalypt forests and wetlands. It also contains some of the last remaining wet heathlands and melaleuca wetlands in Brisbane.
We’ll start our day at the beautiful Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre which has an abundance of interactive facilities and wind up enjoying afternoon tea and something from the AW pantry.
Please note: The Discovery Centre is also an opportunity for you to pick up your free council native plants, just bring along a current rates notice.
