Rich with history, the Highgate Hill area was in use as a settlement prior to colonisation and is still home to many heritage listed dwellings as well as Queensland's first apartment tower, the 22-floor Torbreck on Dornoch Terrace built in 1962.
Join Chris exploring this beautiful old suburb and wind up the afternoon with a casual meal at the Stone and Brew on Gladstone St.
Many thanks to Paul from highgatehill-historical-vignettes.com whose blog posts and suggested walking tour stops helped form the basis of our excursion.
