Join Chris on this twilight hike over a series of tracks on Mt Coot-tha that in addition to the usual training will offer some beautiful glimpses of the Brisbane city lights.
We will start out from the JC Slaughter car park and make our way up Pinnacle Track to get the heart pumping before connecting with the Powerful Owl track and continuing on to the Litchfield track, returning via the Mahogany track to our starting point.
The tracks pass through dry bushland and are well marked, varying from wide to narrow/single file which will offer some variety and as we're we will be finishing in the dark we may also encounter some of the nocturnal native bushland animals.
Essential: Head lamp or torch, we will be walking in the dark at the end of the walk. Do not rely on your smart phone torch.
There is a toilet at our meeting spot
