High Ropes and Rock Climbing Day
Douglas Scrub Campsite Blewitt Springs (near McLaren Vale ) South Australia - Sun 8th April 2018

Our Adventurous Women ® ™ host Leonie will meet you at the Douglas Scrub Campsite, Blewitt Springs (near McLaren Vale) at  8.45 am for a 9am start.
Please don't be late as you may not be able to participate!

After introductions, we will join our 2 experienced instructors to enjoy an exhilarating 4 hours testing ourselves on the Continuous High Ropes course, Rock Climbing, trying our hand at a belayed High Ropes and completing the "Leap of Faith" which is great for developing trust and confidence. 

After the activities are finished, enjoy a celebratory glass of bubbly and yummy lunch prepared by Leonie while you reflect, relax and revel in your accomplishments!

Please ensure you wear suitable attire to get the most out of your day. 

We recommend: 

• A Hair Tie if you have long hair
• Sneakers or Flat Comfortable Shoes with enclosed toes
• Loose Clothing such as track suit pants or shorts (summer only) and a long sleeve t-shirt
• Leaving your jewellery at home as you maybe asked to remove it for safety, and it's just easier not to wear it

*We highly recommend layering your clothing so you can regulate your body temperature throughout the day. Allow for periods of inactivity, this is where you are likely to feel the cold!

What To Bring/Wear

- A Small bag or Backpack to containing:
- Small snacks or fruit in case you get hungry
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Warm Jumper
- Rain Jacket (Preferred) or Poncho
- Personal medications if required e.g. asthma puffers and bee sting tablets etc.
- A Camera to record your moments of glory
- Beanie and Gloves if it's a cool day
- Your completed medical and permissions forms

No Princess Policy

This activity by it's very nature requires some periods of waiting around for others to finish. 
We ask that you exercise patience and perhaps use that time to grab a snack, a drink or take photos of some of the other participants so you can share images later.
