Whether a first time kayaker or an experienced paddler, the reservoir gives a relaxing still water experience with plenty of time to intimately get to know the local critters.
We will spend 2 hours on the water enjoying nature and spotting wildlife, with a knowledgeable & qualified instructor leading the way.
Meeting Time / Place :
Our Adventurous Women ® â„¢ Host Chris, will be wearing a bright orange AW Peak Cap and meet you at 7.45am near a white van which will have a small marquee set up alongside it. You will see this when heading down the path from the Walkabout Creek Visitor Centre towards the reservoir swimming area.
There is plenty of parking surrounding the visitor centre and its a short walk down to the swimming area. We will provide a map with directions to the Walkabout Creek Visitor Centre. From there, look for the signs for the swimming area part of the reservoir down the hill.
