Join Chris as we wander the western side of the beautiful Green Mountain area via a few different tracks.
Our hike will consist of a circuit track via the Wishing Tree on our way to Castle Crag, and visiting Moonlight Crag with it's stunning views over the Albert River Valley to Lost World, Mt Barney and Mt Lindsay.
We'll then continue on via Morans Falls lookout, which overlooks the spectacular 80 metre falls, and on through subtropical rainforest with plenty of tree ferns, twisted vines and the beautiful scent of flowering grass trees.
In the lush forest there's always the opportunity of seeing fabulous birdlife and the occasional reptile.

Transport to and from O'Reilly's. If interested there is an option to carpool from Canungra, but this is not arranged by the AW office or your Guide. Please post on our Facebook page
- Wear comfortable hiking boots, the ground may be wet and slippery.
- Enough water to suit the day, 2-3 litres
- Electrolytes
- Snacks
- Hat
- Sun protection and block out
- Personal First Aid Kit/ Blister care
- Poles (if you normally use them)
- Lunch however some may choose to have lunch at the Tea House on our return, at your own expense
