Cronan Creek track is a beautiful walk that leads us through some gorgeous rainforest sections and over small creeks to a water hole where we will have a break and enjoy lunch.
Depending on the amount of water in the creek we maybe able to rock hop however some of you may prefer to take off your boots and enjoy a wade through the cool water.
If it's a warm day the water hole is great for a cooling, refreshing swim before we return on the 6.5km track the way we came.
While the track is for the most part relatively easy going, it's worth noting there is a short steep section as we walk out of Yellowpinch car park that lasts approximately 500m.
We will be getting an early start to avoid both the heat and too many walkers so please ensure you're on time
Caron & Kat your hosts for the day, will be travelling from Brisbane and stopping at Rathdowney Picnic Area, Collins St, Rathdowney. We will meet here and travel into the Mt Barney National Park together. Please be at this point no later than 7:30am. There will be the option to leave some of our vehicle here and carpool which will organise on the day.
# Please note there are Toilet Facilities at the trail head
