Please note: This is a huge day and only suitable for those that are hike fit
Coomera Circuit is a picturesque hike through the magical Lamington National Park and considered one of the best showcase subtropical rainforest walks in South East Queensland.
Along the way we pass by two spectacular lookouts, numerous waterfalls including the beautiful Coomera Falls. With luck we will see the famous Lamington blue crayfish which is unique to this area, as we will be crossing the Coomera River several times.
Please ensure you have good quality, worn in hiking boots or have taken the necessary steps to protect your feet as it a long wet day with a lot of steps both up and down.
This is a leech prone area so make sure you wear repellent containing DEET such as bushman's and ideally leech proof socks, and be careful when answering the call of nature!
Due to the long day you may want to consider staying the night after the walk. Binna Burra Lodge offers hotel style accommodation as well as camping options at their Rainforest campsite
