Daisy Hill Conservation Park is located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and is part of the Koala Bushland Coordinated Conservation Area (KBCCA) - a forested oasis surrounded by urban development. The area protects an important koala habitat while also being one of South East Queensland’s most significant recreation hubs.
This easy 9km walk will take you through tall eucalypt forests and cool melaleuca wetlands, home to red-necked wallabies, as well as a large number birds and other wildlife.
Once finished we will stop for a cuppa, cake and a chat before heading home.
Chris will meet you near the entrance the car park prior to the walk. Look for her wearing the bright orange AW shirt and cap
