For those that missed out on the last beginners walk we're running it again.
Join the girls walking the Brownhill Creek/Warriparinga trail. The terrain is flat and for the most part firm and level making it a great beginners walk for those just getting interested in bush walking.
This is a pretty walk with the trail meandering along the Brownhill Creek valley near a beautiful narrow creek and majestic river red gums that are many 100's of years old.
One of the larger gums is known as the "Monarch of the Glen", that is known to be over 400 year old and whose hollow trunk sheltered Kaurna Aboriginal people and colonists until as late as the 1950s. Several settlers even gave birth inside the tree.
On the way back we will stop at the coffee van at Brownhill creek caravan park before returning to our cars so don't forget your cash/card.
