MAKE A BOOKING

Join Kat as we walk along the 2.3km Billai Dhagun Track, meaning ‘place of she-oaks’. This is an easy, social walk that winds its way through forests of wispy casuarinas, rust coloured marshlands, mangroves, salt flats and paperbark tea trees. This circuit is also dotted with indigenous Nurri Millen totems relating to local flora and fauna.

We then continue around the gentle 100 metre Tulla-yugaipa Dhagun Track meaning 'place of useful plants'. On this informative walk we identify some of the featured native plants and other wetlands resources, and learn of their traditional uses and importance to the indigenous Australians who lived at Boondall Wetlands for a long time and continue to have links with this land. This will be followed by morning tea (included).
