Not only will you be excited and challenged by learning the process of knot tying, belaying and abseiling, but you will be inspired by the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. You can even see the Lodge from your elevated position.This activity includes a led bush walk to and from the abseiling site, and we'll be avoiding the heat of the day by starting fresh and early in the morning while the cliffs are in the shade!
Afterwards, enjoy a dip in the creek waterhole (subject to water levels), have some lunch, cool off with some watermelon and celebrate your achievements together before returning home... OR MAKE A WEEKEND OF IT AND CAMP OUT ON SATURDAY NIGHT WITH OUR AW HOST, CHRIS! If you decide to camp, you need to contact Mt Barney Lodge Direct to book and pay for your camping spot and BYO everything (tent, food, sleeping gear etc).
Our Adventurous Women ® â„¢ Host will coordinate a car pool arrangement from the meet point at Beaudesert to Mt Barney.
Meet Point/Time:
Beaudesert McDonalds at 6.45am - (toilets, breakfast, coffee if required)
Leave a couple of vehicles at Beaudesert & divi up into other vehicles, leaving Beaudesert at 7.00am for a 50 minute drive through to Mt Barney Lodge.

Notice of cancellation must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Adventurous Women with the following conditions:
If a cancellation is made less that 30 days prior to a scheduled activity, payment is not refundable. (Unless otherwise advised).Payment is not transferable to or for accommodation or camping at Mt Barney.
If minimum numbers are not met, Mt Barney Lodge reserves the right to refund, cancel or postpone the activity.
As of the 19th September 2019 Unfortunately PayPal have changed their policy to now retain fees even when we issue a refund. Due to this change both partial and full refunds will now be less the full fee charged by PayPal at the time of booking
No refund is available after departure of a tour has commenced.
