Wildflower Season in WA is here and we're heading out to some of the best hot spots around to view them.
Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Today we head north of Perth, driving through the coastal towns of Jurien Bay and Leeming, before heading inland to Eneabba and then onto our accommodation, Our accommodation is located on a 160 acre park, set in the North Eneabba sandplains, an area famous for a spectacular range of plants and colourful wildflower displays during the flowering season. This afternoon we will join our host for a one hour wildflower walk around the immediate vicinity of the park, where she will point out the different varieties of wildflowers we are likely to see in this area.

Accommodation: Twin Share in Basic ‘Donga’ Accommodation (all linen supplied) - Shared Ablutions
Day 2: After breakfast, we set off on the River Walking Track within the park (5.6km return), to enjoy some wildflower spotting, before heading further north onto Coalseam Conservation Park, via Mingenew. We’ll break for morning tea and explore the different plant & wildflower varieties on offer here at this time of year. We’ll then drive onwards to Canna’s old camp site, where we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch among the beautiful display of Everlastings. Once we’ve explored this area, we then take you to see the beautiful Wreath Leschenaultia, a unique flower often growing in disturbed gravel. Then it’s back to Mingenew, where we’ll settle in for the evening.

Day 3: This morning, we take you to a couple of Wildflower walking trails & hotspots around the Mingenew area, before making our way south to Three Springs, where we’ll spend time exploring some of the sites, including Yarra Yarra Lakes and WA’s first Talc Mine with its multitude of different coloured soils (spectacular photo opportunity). Driving onto Carnamah and then Coorow for more walking trails and wildflower spotting opportunities, later returning to Perth where our tour will end.

The Wildflower Season is VERY BUSY and budget accommodation is limited. So, on our second evening in Mingenew, there are only 5 King Single Cabins available (no ensuite/shared ablutions) - these cabins are included in the quoted price of this tour. If you miss out on these, or choose to have a cabin with your own ensuite (these cabins are limited), there is an additional charge on top of tour price, as per below :

This tour by it's very nature is not designed for the 5 Star Traveller. It is for the girl who has an 'adventurous spirit' and is looking for a unique and rewarding experience (Once in a Lifetime)! You should be able to adopt a "Go With The Flow" attitude, after-all we are in a foreign country and things don't always go to plan...this will help you chill out and therefore get the best out of your holiday. You will also need to be mobile without assistance - some of the sights require you to be on your feet, navigating steps and uneven surfaces at times. We also have a couple of walks as part of this tour - these walks can be achieved by anyone with a general level of fitness, but again mobility is the key, as with all of our tours. Notice of cancellation must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Adventurous Women with the following conditions:
