Our team of women (and Mr AW sometimes) take the time to travel and test destinations then build up our itineraries based on local knowledge combined with what we as women want to experience and how we feel. We also we create amazing travel offers based on what women have told us worries them so single travellers can experience places where they would otherwise feel vulnerable.

Take a look at our great trips now!Adventurous Women® was founded in early 2008 after Sue (founder) wanted to travel across Thailand for a few months but couldn't find anyone to do it with. Friends either couldn't get the time off or the sort of adventure travel she had in mind just wasn't their thing.
After finally finding a travel buddy in the US and enjoying a few months rekindling her adventurous soul, Sue returned with a passion to help other women. She had always loved travelling and now she made it her mission to empower other women. Adventurous Women® was born with a passion for travel & people, a desire to connect women in small groups and cultivate a supporting environment, and a realisation that adventure is a mind set not an extreme challenge.
Over time we have proudly received accolades but our proudest moments are when we get great feedback from our guests and see women forming friendships that are life long.
